Leadership Training Programs
A community is as strong as its leadership. The
Ethiopian community in Israel has great potential
to be strong – if provided the appropriate tools.
ENP’s Leadership Development Program develops
and trains Ethiopian-Israeli activists and grassroots
leaders, including local steering committee members
and activists, organization representatives and
national ENP leaders. The program thus prepares
community members to become leaders and increase
the involvement of the Ethiopian-Israelis in their own
absorption, bringing about a change from within.
ENP’s Municipal Leadership Development Program
forms a high-potential nationwide group of immigrant
activists who are empowered to advance their community.
Opportunities for Assistance: Creating Cadres of
Leaders
With ENP’s training, guidance and support, the
Ethiopian community in Israel will be able to play a
significant role in determining its own future and to
take action to ensure steady steps towards change,
for itself and for Israel.
• $8,000 provides leadership tools to members of the
local steering committees to help make a difference.
• $30,000 will train one group of 20 municipal leaders
nationwide.
