The town Pardes Hanna-Karkur is located in the Haifa District. One of the most notable residents is Gal Fridman, an Olympic gold-medal-winning windsurfer from Israel.
With 33,000 residents, Pardes Hanna-Karkur is considered as one of the smaller towns in Israel. Around 1,303 Ethiopian-Israelis inhabit this town, 219 of whom are between 13 and 18 years old.
