About Selamevet:
Selamevet made Aliyah only 4 years ago and, amazingly, made the journey entirely alone. When Selamevet arrived in Israel and met her family, she remembers the tears in her father’s eyes after seeing her for the first time in four and a half years. When Selamevet joined ENP’s SPACE Program, she had a hard time asking questions in school and struggled in math. However, after many conversations with her SPACE Coordinator Fitlework, Selamevet began to open up and rose to the highest level in math.
Today:
Selamevet is an extremely motivated student who takes on immense responsibility both at home and in school, even staying in school to study during her vacations. ENP Regional Supervisor Daniel says proudly of Selamevet, “she has a lot of motivation to be successful and I believe that she will be successful.”
