Educational or work background:
I graduated from Indiana University in 2012 with degrees in Elementary Education and Jewish Studies. I student taught 2nd grade in 2012, I worked as a Title 1 Reading Teacher for the 2012-2013 school year, and I am starting a new position in August 2013 as a Fellow at the American Hebrew Academy in Greensboro, NC
What I hope to achieve through my experience with ENP:
I hope to gain experience and acquire new skills in teaching English to non-English speakers, I hope to learn more about the Ethiopian community within Israel, and I hope to challenge myself by putting myself in new situations.
Why I choose to volunteer with ENP:
As an educator, I am interested in teaching and working with children of cultures and nationalities that are different from my own. I was also interested in learning more about the Ethiopian community within Israel.
What superpower would I want to have:
The ability to fly. This way I would be able to travel anywhere.
