Why did you choose to volunteer with ENP?
I am really interested in how the Ethiopian community is situated within Israel society especially within the health care and education systems. Additionally I hope to get to know and understand the community!
What do you do for ENP?
I work in the field at youth centers in the Tel Aviv area and once a week in the Jerusalem office.
What is your favorite part of volunteering with ENP?
Getting to know and understand a Jewish community I have never before experienced.
What do you hope to achieve while working at ENP?
I hope to help empower Ethiopian youth through enhancing their understanding of important educational fields such as English or Math as well as learn about life in Israel from the kids I work with.
What are your goals and aspirations for the future?
In the ~future~ I hope to help eliminate inequities regarding access to health care and coverage.
