Why did you choose to volunteer with ENP?
I find what this program is doing is a wonderful thing, I really enjoy working with teens and young adults, and to work with this program will be the experience of a life time
What do you like to do when you are not volunteering?
I enjoy eating great food, reading books, and hopefully exploring parts of Israel. And if I had a kitchen I would be learning to cook many Israeli dishes
What is your favorite food in Israel?
Oof such a hard choice, I’d have to say Shawarma for now, but last time I came to Israel I found a place that had a Jerusalem mix which was amazing, but I have yet to find it again. I am still looking for a new favorite food though.
What are your goals and aspirations for the future?
I love working with people and being a Psychology major I would love to work with teens who are going through tough times in their life, maybe even work with young adults in college. I would also like to go in to drug addiction research and therapy, I find the topic of drug usage and drug effects to be a very interesting topic.
What do you hope to achieve through your experience with ENP?
?: I hope to achieve a greater understanding of such a unique group of issues. By working here, I not only learn about the issues that many Ethiopians face, yet I also learn much about their rich culture and heritage.
