What do you do for ENP?
At ENP I am an intern for the summer months, mainly working in the Youth Outreach Centers. I most often work in Beit Shemseh with a group ranging in ages from 10-18. Each day is completely different from the next; it can vary from English tutoring to doing hair and nails with the girls. The main work done is about the connections and the time spent together. While in the offices, my primary responsibility is creating a Tutoring Handbook and Activity Game Guide for future interns.
What is your favorite part of volunteering with ENP?
I love the people I have met both in the office and out in the field. Everyone is so genuine and really inspiring to learn from, each with an amazing story to tell. Of course, I also loved learning about Ethiopian culture and trying new food.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Hazelnut
