In response, Orit (SPACE Coordinator) spoke to her about her challenges and was able to reassure her that she can succeed if she believes in herself. After creating a work plan that would suit Ahuva's needs, her math teacher would sit with her one-on-one to provide the critical assistance she needed. Ahuva experienced an amazing transformation. After a short while she was excited to stay for classes after school. The personal attention that SPACE participants are privy to is an integral part of their scholastic success. Moreover, SPACE is a program where children develop a passion for learning and with it often comes excellence and achievement.
