Rachamim Melaku

Rachamim has played the role of supervisor for ENP since 2012. He holds a degree in Special Education, a BA in Political Science and Education, and a teaching certificate (University of Haifa). As one of the founders of the Ethiopian Student Association, Rachamim acted to promote Ethiopian students' success. He acted as the Association's Secretary, Treasurer, and helped instruct students who struggled with their studies. Rachamim has also had extensive experience in management, administration, and tutoring at-risk youth and parent groups. Previously, he directed a program called "Know Where you Came from," which aimed to increase students' self-esteem and their pride in their Ethiopian heritage.   
Currently, Rachamim volunteers as a parent patrol in his hometown. He lives in Haifa with his wife and six children.
