Batel boosted her English language skills with ENP's Bridges program and followed this up with a summer in the U.S.!
Meet Batel, who hails from Carmiel in northern Israel. Batel recently participated in ENP’s Bridges program, which aims to boost our students’ English language skills—something many Ethiopian-Israeli children struggle with.
After successfully completing the Bridges program, Batel attended the Emma Kauffman Camp in the United States, an experience that would not have been possible without the generous support of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh. Attending this unique camp allowed Batel the opportunity to practice her English language skills as well as build relationships with young people from Jewish communities across the United States.
