“I am now 21, and I can’t imagine what my life would be
like if I hadn’t been exposed to ENP’s Youth Outreach Center.”

Moshe, a former ENP participant, explains his experiences as a counselor for youth at
the Hadera ENP youth center. His work at ENP not only helps youth succeed, but also
through his work he reflects on how the ENP center affected his own path in life.

“When I was 17, I began to go to the Youth Outreach Center in Hadera. I was the biggest
troublemaker around. Many of my peers dreaded my presence at the Center, but my ENP
youth counselors worked one on one with me for over a year to improve my behavior and
my interactions with others. The transformation I went through was incredible - many of
my teachers told me they never would recognize the bright, courteous 12th grade student
in their classrooms as the troublemaker who had disturbed their classes in 9th grade. I
was changed person, for the better. I am now 21, and I can’t imagine what my life would
be like if I hadn’t been exposed to ENP’s Youth Outreach Center. Today, I work as a
counselor in the Youth Outreach Center…. I’m a living example that with some help and a
lot of motivation, you really can change and succeed.”
