“Being in SPACE taught me to not give up on anything because if they don’t give up on you, you can’t give up on yourself”

“ENP’s SPACE Program gives Rachel the push forward that she deserves” says Rachel’s teacher. Rachel is a dedicated student who decided to join ENP’s SPACE Program because she wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to improve herself. Rachel is described as a leader of her school, and she thrives in rigorous, demanding classes. Because of the academic support she gets from SPACE, Rachel can be just as successful in her difficult classes as her peers who have greater resources at home. In fact, at the end of ninth grade, Rachel was selected out of her entire grade to receive an excellence certificate. Rachel is an avid reader who loves to learn new things and being a part of SPACE has allowed Rachel to sustain this passion for knowledge. Rachel hopes to go on to study the social sciences for an undergraduate degree and her teachers say, smiling, “We know that we will watch Rachel become very successful in the future.”
