Why did you choose to volunteer with ENP?
I am inspired by ENP’s mission and the work that the SPACE program is doing and I wanted to be a part of their efforts in working with the Ethiopian community in Israel. I also am hoping to work in a non-profit when I graduate from college and I think that interning in ENP will give me valuable skills for that industry.
What do you hope to achieve through your experience with ENP?
I hope to gain an understanding of the unique strengths of the Ethiopian population in Israel as well as the challenges that the community still faces. I also hope to learn new and unique ways to think about community engagement and find ways to connect my major in Public Policy to ENP.
What do you do for ENP?
I am an International Relations Intern
What is your favorite food in Israel?
Falafel and Aroma coffee
What did you want to be when you were a child?
A supreme court justice!
If you could be an animal, which would you be and why?
I would be a kangaroo because I am peppy and love jumping around :)
