Why did you choose to volunteer with ENP?

The core value of actively fighting to make sure Ethiopians are treated like any other citizen really resonated with me. I was and still am impressed with the success and authenticity of this organization.

What do you hope to achieve through your experience with ENP?

I hope to contribute and make as big of an impact as possible throughout my semester here.

Who do you admire the most and why?

My mother because despite all of her challenges she’s been faced with, she still chooses to see the good in people and chose a profession to actively help people experiencing prejudice.

What did you want to be when you were a child?

I always wanted to be a doctor.

Who is your favorite superhero and why?

Dr. Strange because his powers derived from a sense of spirituality and self awareness which he had to work for as opposed to the other superheroes who were typically born with their powers or given them without any effort.
