Avi is a high school student who was failing his English class and had been receiving ongoing support from the ENP's SPACE Program in preparation for the summer matriculation exams.  After participating in the summer camp, his teachers are confident that he will pass the exam.  At the final ceremony, he spoke in front of the group saying, “This was an amazing experience. After being at camp, I am more confident in my ability to learn English, and I also learned to love improving my English, thanks to Shayna, one of the South African volunteers, who taught us using creative activities.” Not only did Avi’s English improve, but his outlook on learning changed completely thanks to SPACE's summer programming!
