Zvi's Story

Youth in School

Zvi is a 10th grade student at Elishiv High School. At the beginning of the school year, he was already failing several classes. After many motivational conversations with the ENP SPACE Program staff and his teachers, Zvi began attending more and more study sessions in Hebrew, history, English, and Torah. His grades improved greatly, and he was moved up to a level 4 English class, increasing his chances of completing high school with a University level matriculation certificate. At the same time as his grades improved, his self-confidence grew and he has since made more friends, as well as building a positive relationship with the program staff. If he continues on this track, he will complete high school in 2013 with University level matriculation! Zvi’s story would have been unthinkable without intervention from ENP’s SPACE Program.
