Why did you choose to volunteer with ENP?
When I decided to intern in Jerusalem for the summer I came across ENP and was fascinated by all they do for the Ethiopian Jewry. In my school I had a class that discussed the history of Israel and the creation of the state and the Ethiopian immigrants played a vital role in the making of the state and expanding the diversity and cultural impacts.
What do you hope to achieve through your experience with ENP?
I hope to explore more about the history and culture of the Ethiopian Jewry and gain a deeper appreciation for the struggle and success of integration into Israeli society.
