Alebel made Aliyah with his family in 2010. He and his five siblings were all born in Gondar, Ethiopia. He says his father still tells him stories of their village from time to time. His father does not speak Hebrew and his mother knows very little, so Alebel’s parents are not able to provide him with much help regarding his studies. After just one year in the program, ENP SPACE is already showing an impact for Alebel and his friends. SPACE gives Alebel the help he needs in English and math by giving him additional explanations of material and more personal attention. In less than one year, his grades have raised from 60s to 90s. His parents have also noticed his improvements in school. In his free time, Alebel loves to run. In the future, he hopes to attend university to study engineering.
