Assef, whose family settled in Netanya after making Aliyah, is a forward-focused, responsible student who is determined to excel in school and beyond. One of six children, Assef’s parents and siblings often lack the time and ability to help her with schoolwork. ENP’s SPACE program provided Assef with the supplementary academic support that has since allowed her to excel in school. Studying is incredibly important to Assef and she is thankful to ENP for helping her improve her study habits, which has led to tangible academic improvement. Assef’s role model is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In her spare time she enjoys going out with friends and listening to Beyoncé. Her favorite color is yellow and she would like to someday travel to South America.
