Itamar is 15 years old and is in the 9th grade. His family made Aliyah from Ethiopia in 1985. Itamar first heard about SPACE when ENP presented at his school. He was struggling in math at the time and saw SPACE as a possible avenue for both improving his grades and helping him grow as a person. Itamar’s favorite part of the program is the supplementary math support that assists him in solving exercises and completing his homework. Above all else, Itamar believes that the program has taught him how to effectively learn, which is why he encourages younger kids to not be embarrassed or ashamed of needing extra support. Itamar hopes to become a doctor one day and visit the United States and France. He loves shawarma and soccer, especially Lionel Messi.
