Maor was born in Israel and he has 4 brothers and 2 sisters, and he is the first of them to participate in ENP’s SPACE program. Maor’s favorite part about school is sports and he loves playing soccer, but SPACE has also helped him find value in other parts of his education. Maor describes himself as a leader, and he hopes to one day become an electrical engineer, so his education is very important. One of Maor’s great achievements have been moving up from the 3-point levels in math and English to the 4-point level. This is incredibly difficult and does not take only good grades and test scores to do so but also the confidence and leadership skills to communicate well with authority. Without the SPACE program this would likely have been impossible. Maor feels enriched by the program and encourages younger students to participate as well.
