Tadessa's Driving Force

Youth in School
City: Beit Shemesh

"The program is really the solution, and without it I am sure that I would not be where I am now."

Tadessa was only 1 year old when he and his brothers made Aliyah from Ethiopa on their own, with their parents following later.

His parents’ limited Hebrew skills meant they couldn’t give their children the extra support they needed with their schoolwork.

The solution for Tadessa came in the form of ENP’s SPACE program, which aims to give students the tools and help they need to improve their grades—particularly in the years leading up to graduation.

Since starting the program, Tadessa’s math units have gone from 3 to 4.

The small class numbers and attentive teachers have allowed Tadessa to receive the attention he needs to progress in his studies.

Recently, Tadessa and his SPACE classmates went on a go-karting trip, which was a great bonding and confidence-building exercise—it was also a lot of fun!

Tadessa wants to encourage younger kids to enroll in SPACE, which he believes will give them the opportunities they need to succeed in life.
